Use case

On-call for small teams

Small teams don't need an incident command system. They need the right person woken, with enough context to fix it in minutes.

How it works for a team

  • Each person has a place in the escalation order (0 to 10). Wake goes to the first, then the next after 5 minutes without an answer.
  • Tell alerts go to the first person who can be reached, or to a Slack or Telegram channel.
  • Anyone signed in can approve a fix; undoing a deploy needs their passkey.
  • Everyone gets a weekly email: problems, what the helper fixed, and how many seconds people spent.

Pagerless has no rotation schedules yet. If you need weekly rotations across many people, PagerDuty or incident.io fit better today.

Plans

Free covers two people. A Team plan for more people is planned, priced per alert sent rather than per seat; it is not open yet.
