Pagerless for NestJS

One line after `NestFactory.create`, or register the exception filter yourself.

Set up

npm i pagerless
main.ts
import { usePagerless } from "pagerless/nestjs";

const app = await NestFactory.create(AppModule);
usePagerless(app);

Or as a provider: { provide: APP_FILTER, useClass: PagerlessExceptionFilter }. Needs @nestjs/core 9 or newer.

What it catches

  • 5xx and unknown errors, then handed to Nest's own exception filter.
  • Outside HTTP (GraphQL), errors are reported and re-thrown.
  • Reports 5xx and crashes only, never 4xx, and leaves the response, logs and error exactly as they were.
  • On Node it also starts the SDK: uncaught errors and unhandled rejections, status and latency per route, failing outbound calls (Stripe, OpenAI, Supabase and others named), a heartbeat every 60 seconds and a deploy marker.

Questions

Does it replace my exception filters?

No. It reports, then hands off to Nest's BaseExceptionFilter as usual.
