Set up
Calls to Neon are tagged by name in the Node SDK.
Store the key with where your app runs. Or run npx pagerless connect and it finds your services and places the key for you.
Fixes on Neon
| Fix | On Neon |
|---|---|
| Undo the update | Restores a branch to a snapshot or a point in time |
| Restart | Restarts the compute endpoint |
| Add capacity | Raises autoscaling compute |
| Deploy events | From the SDK's deploy marker |
| Access it needs | a Neon API key |
A point-in-time restore changes data, so it always waits for your passkey approval.
Questions
Can Pagerless roll back Neon automatically?
Yes, if your rules set undo to alone. By default it asks first, and approving an undo needs your passkey (Face ID or Touch ID). It then restores a branch to a snapshot or a point in time.
Does Pagerless need admin access to Neon?
It needs a Neon API key. It is stored encrypted and used only for the fixes listed above. You can skip it: alerts work without it.
