# On-call for small teams

> Small teams don't need an incident command system. They need the right person woken, with enough context to fix it in minutes.

## How it works for a team

- Each person has a place in the escalation order (0 to 10). Wake goes to the first, then the next after 5 minutes without an answer.
- Tell alerts go to the first person who can be reached, or to a Slack or Telegram channel.
- Anyone signed in can approve a fix; undoing a deploy needs their passkey.
- Everyone gets a weekly email: problems, what the helper fixed, and how many seconds people spent.

> Pagerless has no rotation schedules yet. If you need weekly rotations across many people, [PagerDuty](https://pagerless.dev/vs/pagerduty) or [incident.io](https://pagerless.dev/vs/incident-io) fit better today.

## Plans

Free covers two people. A Team plan for more people is planned, priced per alert sent rather than per seat; it is not open yet.
