## Why calls use your own Twilio account

Phone calls cost real money per minute and per country. Instead of bundling a call allowance into a seat price, Pagerless places calls through your Twilio account, so you see the exact cost on Twilio's bill and we never add a margin. Push, Slack, Telegram, email and webhooks cost nothing extra.

## The AI helper allowance

Each account has a monthly allowance for AI diagnosis. If it runs out, nothing goes quiet: floors still wake you, and other problems are sent to you as a message without the AI's diagnosis until the month resets.

### Is Pagerless really free?

Yes. The Free plan covers you and one backup person and up to 3 apps with no card and no time limit. Phone calls are billed by Twilio on your own account.

### How much will the Team plan cost?

It is not priced yet. The plan is to charge per alert delivered, with no per-seat price, so a quiet month costs little. Upgrades are not open yet.

### Do I need Twilio?

Only for phone calls. Push to the iPhone app, Slack, Telegram, email and webhooks work without it.

### Is there an SMS channel?

No. Pagerless sends push, phone calls, Slack, Telegram, email and webhooks.
