Updated: 2026-10-22

## Set up

Node: `import "pagerless/auto"`. Python: the [HTTP reporter](https://pagerless.dev/integrations/python).

Store the key with Replit Secrets. Or run `npx pagerless connect` and it finds your services and places the key for you.

## Fixes on Replit

| Fix | On Replit |
| --- | --- |
| Undo the update | Guided steps (below) |
| Restart | Guided steps |
| Add capacity | Not available |
| Deploy events | From the SDK's deploy marker |
| Access it needs | none (guided steps) |

## Guided undo

Replit has no API to undo a release, so the problem page shows these steps, plus a prompt you can paste into the AI tool you built with:

1. Open the Deployments tab.
2. Pick the deployment from before the problem and roll back to it.
3. Pagerless checks that the errors stop.

## Questions

### Can Pagerless roll back Replit automatically?

No. Replit has no API for it, so Pagerless shows the exact steps and checks that the errors stop after you follow them.

### Does Pagerless need admin access to Replit?

It needs none (guided steps). It is stored encrypted and used only for the fixes listed above. You can skip it: alerts work without it.
