1. **Errors are reported** from the server and, if it matters, the browser.
2. **Silence is caught**: heartbeats, so a dead app is noticed in minutes.
3. **Payments are watched** as their own signal.
4. **Scheduled jobs check in**, so a stopped job is noticed.
5. **You know how to undo** a deploy on your host, or the tool does it for you.
6. **Someone is second**: a backup who gets called if you don't answer.
